Completely Forgotten

I don't know about everyone else but I can tell this week is going to be horrible and its only Monday. Dear goodness me I wrote my math quiz, it wasn't pretty. I wrote my English synthesis, I don't even know if I answered the question right. Bio review? I got most of my answers wrong. I have no idea about school anymore, to make it worse I would say, I don't even know if I want to become a nurse anymore. I messaged a really old close "family" friend of mine, she happens to be a nurse and she followed the path I want to be. I decided to message her about what's it like to become a nurse and what do you need to qualify to enter the program that she took. I don't know this whole bittersweet of me graduating turned into depression I should say? Okay I should find a better synonym depression is definitely not the right word. I guess I just feel down. The reality in life is starting to hit me. No more slacking off, no more goofing around, no more taking things for granted. I never thought I'd say this but I really just want to stay in high school forever. Is that weird? This is probably a normal phase that all seniors go through. I guess its because I've been attached to high school. It is kind of similar when I used to miss elementary school. Don't get me wrong, elementary school was the bomb dot com, but there's something in high school that elementary or college cannot provide. For me that is. I'm probably singling out college because I haven't been there yet, but who knows. Let's just say I feel like it you know? I also found out that the camp out is this week and youth encounter is on May long weekend. What am I going to do, everything is... I don't know. I'm completely speechless. I can already tell May is going to be hell. Figuratively speaking of course.

Frogs & Bees

Can this week get any stressful? Tests after test, its a never ending mess! It's like teachers meet up and plan to pack our lives with test, quizzes and what not! What's even worse is that I slept the entire day, yesterday was quality time with the boyfriend & Friday was the RadioActive dance. I knew I could have studied yesterday but let's be honest who would study when friends are over? I've been recently watching 8 Simple Rules as well so that's not helping. Come to think of it... I'm blogging! Oh well blog > studying ? Let's see what I have this week.

Yesterday was our last dance of the year, no doubt it LOOKED fun, however we(Michelle A & Leo) couldn't really enjoy ourselves. Why? because ALL of our friends couldn't come! Which sucks because it was our last dance. I know it didn't really mean anything to them, but it kinda sucked cause we put a lot of effort into this dance. It's like when you do something for a class project, it looks amazing but your teacher only gives you 99%. It feels like that. Regardless I say we still had fun at the dance even though there was a lot less dancing. I guess all that's left is prom and of course after grad.

Most of my posts for now will be about stories I write.
I wrote this a long time ago for an original composition with the topic:
People's views on life can be changed.

I looked at the lady whose hands were clutching the hems of my pants. She was on her knees, sobbing for mercy. “Please don’t hurt me, I’ll give you anything you want! I promise” she cried out as her clutch became a full on grip on my ankle. This was like déjà vu all over again, the person I last killed said those very words. I looked from left to right to find the nearest weapon so I could finally put an end to her weeping. After no luck of finding anything I placed two of my fingers on the nape of her neck and applied pressure until her grip began to release. “I don’t really like using this method, I think paralyzing is cheap but my orders were to assassinate everyone.” I said to interrupt her faint murmurs. I pulled out the tablet that they gave me and opened the mission folder, I bent down to get a closer look of the lady who I just paralyzed. “Blue eyes, check. Black hair, check” I said aloud to myself as I started to compare the picture I had opened up. “Now to see if you are truly the victim they want to eradicate.” I searched for the tattoo with an x and a semicolon, I spotted it quickly since her left hand was covering her elbow after she fell to the ground. I smiled and started to feel around her neck until I hit the vein I was looking for. “Ah-ha!” I said and applied pressure to the point, her eyes immediately shut close which meant my job was over.

The tablet started vibrating in my hands. I hesitated to pick it up, I knew it was them, they were going to give me another mission. I started fidgeting with the tablet and decided to put it away in my pocket and headed out of that dreadful cave of that lady. I walked around the forest and noticed how tall the trees were and how alluring they were as the sunlight shone through them while the scent of magnolia was laced with the leaves’ trees. My smile returned until the vibrating continued. I opened the tablet and seven missed calls popped up. My heart started to race and my whole body became shaky, just as I was about to return the call I felt a smack in the middle of my back and a jab from below to my jaw. I submitted to the floor and just as my eyes were about to close I saw a familiar logo that was placed on the back of the attacker’s clothes. It was the same logo tattooed on my middle back. It was one of them.

I woke up strapped to a chair alone in a room with a dim light shining through the rooftop window. My heartbeat started to accelerate, I began frantically wiggling around something that would free me. I don’t want to go through this again, not now not ever. I stopped as soon as I heard a key twist the door open and shut my eyes hoping they would leave me alone till I woke up, I was wrong. The person that opened the door was followed by  another person who was wearing a dark coat, that person is the very same person whom I feared. “Leave him alone with me” he demanded and the person scurried out of the room as fast as he could. I wish he didn’t.

“Wake up” he said. I slowly opened my eyes to find his face only a few inches away from mine. He wore an angry face. “This is strange, this is my first time having to talk to you”
“I’m so-“ he slapped me across the face before I could speak. “You will be allowed to talk until I tell you. Your mission are rules are very clear. You will answer to our calls, you will do whatever we say. Don’t forget who saved you and brought you up” he hissed as his hands were locked on my jaw. Tears started to stream down my face since my jaw was one of the flaws they forgot to inject protection when they were operating on me. Tears began forming at my eyes and he took notice of it. “Don’t you know its forbidden to show any emotion here, especially in front of me. I think I shall teach you a lesson.” His grip on my jaw became stronger, the cracking became more frequent every time his grip grew stronger. He kept doing this until I screamed and the tears were flowing from my eyes. A person ran inside the room and the man in the dark coat smirked and just walked away leaving but before that he whispered something into the man’s ear and left the two of us in the room.

I could feel the blood filling inside my mouth. The man who just entered rushed to my aid as he pulled out a cloth and gently shoved it in my mouth to help stop the bleeding. “There’s wild geranium and yarrow infused with the cloth, those two are special herbs that help stop internal bleeding and clean out any bacteria in your mouth. Also to soak up all the blood as well” he said unbuckling the straps from the chair. I could barely move and yet alone feel anything, however I did feel the vibration in my pocket. I quickly picked it up and the message read: you will follow his order, he will train you to become the man you’re supposed to be, obedient and ruthless. I replied with a simple yes and bowed at my new teacher. He waved his hand and started to make his way out of the building. I simply followed him.

He led me far away as possible from the building to an underground cell with the same symbol from the lady’s elbow. I didn’t know what was going on but all I knew was to keep quiet and follow orders. Maybe I was supposed to spy on them or assassinate but how could I do this with a broken jaw? But this guy knows that I’m from Jin’s side, so what’s going on. He led me to a room, similar to the one I was just in but instead of just a chair there was a table and two chairs. He sat down first and told pointed at the chair while he smiled at me. I wanted to smile back but the words of Jin struck back at me, show no emotions. I sat down facing him. He stood up and removed the cloth away from my mouth and gave a little nudge to my jaw.
“Say something”
“Hi” I said. I felt my jaw, everything seemed to be fixed. It wasn’t tender or sore it was completely normal. He went back to his seat and looked at me. I felt his eyes examining me, it was like how Jin does it but this time I didn’t feel the need to cringe.
“Poor you, you have been hurt so many times haven’t you?”
“Yes sir”
“I can see it in your eyes the mental abuse and physical abuse you received from them. They were quite harsh to you weren’t they?”
“Yes sir” I shamefully bowed my head. “Your boss, teacher, master or whatever instructed me to teach you and return you back. However I don’t plan on returning you back. You must know who I am by now, you’ve been attacking my people and soldiers for so long, but I realized that it wasn’t your intention was it?”
“No sir, I-I don’t know. Jin taught me that life was nothing but submitting to stronger people, that the strongest rules over the weak. That in order to live in this world we must be emotionless and kill all weak people, sir”
“Well the only rule you have to follow is to be yourself, treat everyone equally and you’ll be fine, so if you want to cry go ahead.”
“No, sir” I said being firm but the amount of tears that have formed in my eyes from the moment he said if you want to cry go ahead. He stood up and did something that I have never gotten before, a hug.

“You my boy are in the process of healing” as he patted my head. “What Jin has taught you about life have been nothing but garbage. Life isn’t about killing and dominating over the weak. It’s about living peacefully and equally with one another, even with the weak.” I stopped crying, it felt good to cry like that. I felt the pain that Jin inflicted upon me dissolve in this man’s kindness. “I thought life was all about pain and hatred, that’s what I was taught, but sir you helped me open my eyes that life is more than that! It’s about being yourself even if it’s expressing yourself such as crying!”
“You are completely right kiddo! Stop calling me sir, instead call me Xin.” I smiled and hugged him, I knew at this moment life would be brighter. I felt the vibrating again in my pocket, I took it out and smashed it on the floor. I knew my destiny was to follow my own path, to make my own life not Jin controlling me.

English teacher assigned us four prompts to write a story for her English Honors class. She said if any of our stories gets picked by one of them, we automatically get an A. Of course I'm going to try this.
Prompt #1: Unfinished Business
with a hint of prompt #2: Man Afraid of Darkness

When I was a little boy I remember my father always going out late at night, with his black back-pack that I now use. I'm pretty amazed on how he managed to keep this bag in good shape, I mean with all the things he used to do, it gets pretty gruesome and hard. I guess that's why they call him "the best" in the business. Now, I'm going to have to live in his legacy. No, he's not dead but he's very old and weak. But that doesn't mean he stops doing his job. He actually completed a couple of tasks today, not by him but through me. He praises me quite well because I do such a "fantastic job" he says, but I hate doing this. Who likes making someone go through their fears before killing them? Someone who is sadistic and cruel that's who. That person is none other than my father. And me? Hell no! I'm scared to death when I do what he asks me to, but the worst thing is I can't object. There's something about him that I fear, something in his eyes that I can't overcome. I'm just afraid because I don't know what's his plan or what he's planning. Maybe it's because of what happened to Rene.

"Liam" a cold voice called out to me. "Yes?" I responded quickly. "Come over here, I have your new task today." I walked over to where he was sitting, the orange couch where I used to play with my twin brother. He handed me two sheets that had scribbles of notes written all over. "The time I want you to finish in today's task is 2 hours. With your skills it'll probably take 30 minutes"
"Is there anything you want from this task?"
"Other than the victim's whimpers and fear?" he responded stroking his chin.
"Yes"
"No" he grinned. "Now get going, remember if you fail this task, don't even bother coming back home" he muttered standing up and walking to the next room, leaving me alone with the orange couch and the two sheets of paper in my hands. I made my way to the front door which was equipped with heavy duty locks, chains and bolts. I sighed heavily while unlocking the locks, leaving the devil's home to complete another mission.

I kept shifting my eyes from left to right hoping to find the address he had written on the paper. "4901, 4902, 4903" I whispered to myself hoping to find my destination. "4904, 4905! Ah ha!" I shouted joyfully, I glanced at my clock, only 10 minutes has passed by. I pulled over a couple of blocks away from the house, not making it too obvious for the neighbors to see. I quickly walked towards the house and made my way through the backyard. I grabbed the papers to read the first instructions "cut off all electricity, cut the blue wire on pole 543" I said to myself. I ran towards it not caring if I was caught by the homeowner, I opened the box which revealed red, yellow, orange and blue wires all entangled into one. "Cut all blue wires" I whispered as I severed all of them. I folded the papers away because I knew what to do, torment the victim and kill him or her. I quickly ran towards the back door, just as I was about to grab the knob the door opened. It revealed a blonde lady with green eyes who was wearing maroon jeans and an over sized sweater. "Mom?" I questioned quietly. "Who are you?!" she shouted backing away, I placed my hands on her mouth to shut her up and pushed her forward. Slamming the door behind me.

Her arms and legs were sprawled across the floor. "What do you want?" she questioned sitting up trying to back away. I felt my heart beat accelerate, she looked just like my mom, but this girl she's too aggressive. I could feel my fear dissolving into rage, how dare this women look like my mother and be this disgusting. I grabbed her wrist squeezing hard, feeling the bones cracking against my hand. She screamed so loudly that I had to grab her jaw and break it, once I heard the bones crack a smirk grew onto my face. All that came from her were whimpers and tears. She was now on the floor lying like a fetus, with her hands tenderly on her jaw, hoping she could fix it. I scooped her up with no problem, it looks like she doesn't want to fight anymore. I ran downstairs knowing that 15 minutes has passed. 5 more minutes until my time is up.

I threw the lady on the floor and dragged her to the nearest wall so I could chain her, just as my father did to all of his victims. "If I recall you're afraid of being alone in the dark, unable to move?" I questioned. Her eyes widened and began to try to pull herself away from the wall. "Well, get used to it. I live like this everyday. At least someone will know how I feel. To make it easier for you how about I paralyze you?" Her tears became more excessive as I approached her, lining my two fingers on the nape of her neck. "Hold on this will just take a second" I mumbled. Feeling around until I felt the major vein and artery connecting to the spinal chord, I slammed my hand against her neck. With that her head fell resting on her left shoulder. I shut off all the lights and quickly ran upstairs. I ran out the door, closing it softly.

"My boy, you are really my son" he greeted me with a hug. I smiled and accepted his embrace, for the first time. I could get used to this as I felt my fear melt away once again but in joy not in anger. "You know, that women you just killed?"
"Yeah what about her?"
"She looks like your mom, doesn't she?" he laughed, letting go and heading towards the orange couch. "Yeah" I murmured. "Well, remember when I told you your mom cheated on me, that's her daughter. Basically you're half sister" he casually laughed and with that my joy sprung into anger. I ran towards the door until I heard his cold voice which hit me like daggers "don't even bother trying to save her, she's already dead now. Besides if you go there, you are no longer welcome back into this house." I turned to face this cruel man who I tried to please just so I could get a little bit of love from him, but instead all I got was fear and darkness. I ran upstairs to my bedroom and locked the door. Allowing the darkness to engulf me.

This darkness I can take, it's just my father's darkness is the one I can't. First he makes me kill my own twin brother, Rene and now my half sister? What more can he take away from me? I began sobbing trying to find the box that my mother had left me under my bed, right before she disappeared. I ran my fingers on the surface of it, I never dared opening it until now. Pictures of her, Rene and me were scattered inside the box and several letters. One of the letters were encased in an envelope stating "Task Completed". I tore it open quickly since I knew it was my mother's writing. Only one page was inside but with a lot of writing, I began reading it as tears invaded my eyes.

Dear my beloved Liam & Rene,
I want you two to both know that I love you very much. Know that I left because I had to, If I didn't leave then he would've just killed all of us. He was a very loving man until I found out all about his deeds. I tried so hard to hide it from you two but the bruises on my face, arms and legs weren't helping at all. I promise one day you two and I will live happily ever after. But for now, I just can't live like this. Tears were now steaming down my cheek and staining the letter. I'm so stupid, the only person that cared for me, I killed him because I was afraid of my father. I don't even know why I was afraid of him until now, I mean he can't even kill a simple person. Why should I be afraid of him? He asks me to kill his victims, if anything he should be afraid of me. I can feel my rage becoming stronger and stronger. I stood up and ran outside my bedroom trying to find the man who pushed me around for too long. I started to smirk once I knew what I was going to do to my father, I'm going to repay him for what he had done to me. He took away my brother and my sister, not to mention all those innocent lives for the sake of his pleasure. Well I'm going to take away something special away from him, his life. I ran down the stairs hoping to find him on that orange couch but there was no one sitting there. I went to the kitchen, basement, washroom and even his bedroom and he was no where to be found. I made my way to the back door noticing that my keys were gone. "That jerk! He took my car!" I shouted banging the door.

My father left before I could do anything, My fear for him has completely vanished at this point, how dare he leave with out letting me take my anger out on him like he did to my mother or Rene. "Liam, you must end this" I whispered to myself grabbing a kitchen knife and heading out the door. I took out the sheet of paper and wrote in big letters with a box beside it: KILL DAD. "I'm not going to rest until I have his blood on this knife" I said aloud laughing maniacally.

EHHH, I really don't like how I ended it. I don't even know. It made no sense to me HAHA. Well I tried, hopefully its okay. Not my best work. I really disliked these prompts, my bad guys!

Last Letter

My English teacher assigned us a free write. However she gave us two options on how to start our free write. One of them was: Late at night, write a story about books talking. What would they fight about? What do they talk about. The second option was: "A mother stops scolding her child for nibbling on the wall after she discovers the wallpaper peeling off revealing words. Of course I chose the second one, so here is my story.

If anyone found this let me just say what you've heard was all wrong, let me tell you what really happened that night. I was with Martha not with Lucy, let’s just get that straight. The only reason why I’m writing on this wall is because I know no one(at this time that is) will be smart enough or clever(we can say) to find my last words or dying words. Okay, here goes nothing. It was just a regular night with Martha until she went through my bag and found letters from Lucy. I swear nothing happened between Lucy and I before any ideas come to mind. Anyways Martha opened all the letters which revealed pictures of Lucy trying to be seductive and of course Martha flipped out I mean what kind of woman wouldn't right? However she didn't even let me talk or give reasons why, I had those letters because I wanted to tell her about this Lucy girl who has been pretty much stalking and trying to be with me. No matter how many times I told Lucy I have a fiance she kept being persistent. Right when I walked in she chucked the pictures at my face and began pounding my chest with her small fist screaming “YOU CHEATER! SCUMBAG!” I didn't know what to do but try to hug her and calm her down, but she pushed me off and ran out the door. This is where the REAL truth comes, not Lucy’s truth or the witness’ truth because you know why? I was there. I followed Martha.

 Of course she didn't notice me with all that anger and sorrow clouded in her mind, I didn't dare to call out to her because I knew she would go on a rampage or do something she and I would regret since she is pregnant  so I kept my distance making sure she would be okay. Non-stop running from the both of us until she stopped at a house where I wasn't familiar with. She knocked down the door open and ran inside, I moved to follow her as I watched from the window where Martha was screaming at a familiar figure, it was Lucy. I moved closer to the window so I would be able to hear what they were screaming at each other. “You home wrecker ” Martha shouted “I’m guessing Lukas told you that he was cheating on you with me” she giggled folding her arms. At that moment my heart beat was rising, what a liar, what is she trying to do. Just as I was about to get up and go inside the house to confront Lucy I heard Martha weeping like I never heard before. “Did you know I was pregnant? How dare you ruin my soon to be family.” she whimpered. I froze, I couldn't get up or scream or anything. Hearing that and the fact that my soon to be wife was in distraught for something I didn't even do. “Boo-hoo, you should go die, Lukas hates kids” Lucy said. I can hear the malicious slander ripping the heart of my dear beloved Martha as she wept uncontrollably. At this point I somehow grew strength within my knees to run inside the house and to end this chaos.

As I reached inside the house I noticed Martha’s arms were cradled around her abdominal area. I knew it was something to do with the baby, I quickly ran towards her aid where I saw a puddle underneath her. I thought to myself oh crap, she’s in labor  Just as I was about to carry her on my back I felt a sharp pain striking my head and immediately fell to the ground. It was Lucy with a pan in her hand and I saw her escorting Martha to the basement after that I blacked out. I know you’re probably thinking that I left some parts out because I was unconscious or that I blacked out, surely enough I probably missed some minor details but this is where all their questions will be answered, about my deceased fiance: Martha. My eyes shot open as soon as Lucy threw the bucket of cold water at me. The first thing I saw was Martha lying on a cot screaming in pain. My first reaction was to run to her and get her some real help but I couldn't, I couldn't move any part of my body, not even my own neck for I was chained to a wall. “Lukas why did you do this to me? I could have given you this if that’s what you wanted.” Lucy cried as she aided Martha giving birth to my daughter. I’m not going to describe every detail because no one really wants to know what it looks like, but seeing my daughter born was the best thing ever, the worst thing was losing Martha all because of Lucy. After Lucy helped Martha, she went away with my daughter and came back empty handed. “I’ll give you an option. You can live with me and I’ll spare Martha’s life or you can have your newborn baby girl and be with me but you’re going to have to say goodbye to Martha” When I heard her say that, no doubt I screamed at the top of my lungs hoping someone would hear me and run here. I looked at Martha who wasn't even saying anything. Her eyes were droopy and it looked like she was about to sleep. I remember calling out to her and she replied “take care of our baby, I’m sorry I ever doubted you” and with that she closed her eyes.

I knew Martha died, all that pain and emotion drained her and probably strained her heart. I looked at Lucy who had a big grin on her face, I had no other choice and she knew it too. I had to be with her and pretend I loved her for the sake of our daughter which Martha left behind. Lucy quickly let me go and called the authorities saying how Martha was the crazy stalker and ruining our family. It’s funny because it was the other way around. I kept my mouth shut until this day, my beautiful daughter: Hailey, I am sorry I couldn't watch you grow until you were 10, 16, 25 or even till this day. I know you’re reading this because your mom Lucy gave you this house didn't she? Hailey don’t be alarmed although Lucy was messed up she was a motherly figure for you, even when I decided to kill myself. I know you've been wondering about me well this is what happened. Lucy isn't your real mother, Martha is. Ever wondered why you had scarlet hair when my hair was dark brown and Lucy’s was blonde? Genetic disorder she told you didn't she? That is a complete lie, your real mother: Martha had this beautiful dark scarlet hair. You inherited it from her. You were the only thing that kept me going, but when Lucy was threatening to change everything about you I couldn't take it anymore. I’m sorry my beautiful Hailey. Your mother and I will always be watching over you, Lucy is old and can’t do anything now. If you can do not let her near your children. Avoid her, at all cost. Even burn this house down!

I love you Hailey, me and your mother do. Always. It was always about you. I felt tears run down my cheeks and a sudden change within my heart.

How could I just accept this? I've been wondering all my life where my father had gone and this explains it. My mother who raised me isn't my mother but a psycho person? How will I break it to Damien? He loves her. How did he know I was going to read this? Did he predict Damien would chew on the wall? I can't believe this, at least I know what really happened.
