CONFIDENCE

Got this idea from Makayla when she wanted to hear about my thoughts on this. (However I'm not really sure if this is what you were trying to ask but let's just roll with it LOL :$).

Confidence. This word may be foreign to some of us or it may be something we're familiar with. I believe confidence plays a huge role in loving yourself. Don't believe me? Here's a little snippet of my personal experience.

I'm not going to lie on some days I look at myself in the mirror with disgust and on some days I look in the mirror proud on how I look. However before it only used to be disgust. I would hate what I saw in the mirror. I envied those girls who had that thigh gap and those girls who looked flawless with out their make up. I was so insecure with myself and my confidence was so low. When I started wearing make up I couldn't stop. If it was to walk my dog or to go to the grocery store I had to wear make up, because I sincerely thought that I didn't look good. Because of this I became cold, distant and had a negative mindset. I kept comparing myself to other girls who had everything I wanted. It was then I realized all the girls that I envied were from magazines and television. Even the girls I envied that I knew in person did something to allow themselves to reach where they are.

At that moment after a series of deep talks, support and prayer I realized I too had to do something. I was tired of feeling sorry for myself. I hated the feeling of self loathe. It didn't feel good and it reflected on who I was on the outside. You see, what you feel on the inside is how you act on the outside. If you're not feeling 100% then you're not going to be 100%. I started to exercise and watched what I ate. I began to take care of myself better by using the proper products needed for my body. Not only did I improve on my looks but I also worked on my communication skills. Back then I was an introvert. I hated talking and meeting new people. I was comfortable in my shell. I knew I wanted to meet and talk to new people but I was too damn shy. However once I started to feel good about myself on how I looked, I started to gain confidence to approach other people that I always wanted to befriend.

Now I'm not saying you have to go through this whole new makeover just so you can get confidence. What I am trying to say is that confidence lies within yourself. If you're constantly putting yourself down and feeling sorry for yourself, you're putting your confidence down. You're not believing in yourself. It took a long time to realize that make up can't help you feel 100%. Even though I love make up, make up is a false tool that people used in order to feel confident and beautiful. In reality beautiful is who you truly are. Beautiful is your natural face, your natural look. Natural is beautiful. Yes, make up is great but it shouldn't be your source of confidence. You, yourself should be your source of confidence. I'm not trying to tell any of you to stop wearing make up in order to feel confident. If make up HELPS with building your confidence then so be it because it's still today part of my confidence. Just don't let it be your source for confidence.

Here in this video I'm taking off my make up. Back then if I didn't change on how I thought then I probably wouldn't ever post this video. However I learned to accept myself for who I am. If I wanted to get that thigh gap then I'm probably going to have to exercise. If you want great things in life you have to work for it.

Song: Feels - Girrafage
(Face Wipes: Morning Blast Facial Wipes)
I want to tag everyone to do this.
Take off your make up and be proud of who you are without it!
Because you're freaking beautiful.

One of the main objective in life is to be happy. A lot of key things play into happiness. Confidence is surely one of them. Like I said if you want something in life you have to work for it. Confidence isn't easy to obtain but it isn't impossible to obtain. You just have to work at it and persevere.

I'm not an expert in confidence. It took me a long time to gain confidence. I'm just sharing my personal experience and my thoughts on confidence.

I hope you lovelies enjoyed this post and I hope it was helpful.

REQUEST!

Hello!
I at least check my emails once a day and I found this message in my inbox!

Originally I was going to cut off her name but Lucy said she was fine with it! Besides I managed to hide her email address (so don't worry Lucy you still have some confidentiality!)
Anyways before I dive into her message I just want to make one thing clear: I accept "requests" or "suggestions" for ideas on my next post! You lovelies are reading it and even though this is my blog I want to appeal to you all! You guys are my motivation to keep blogging! So I wanna thank you all lovelies<3!
Lucy,
You can definitely count on "How To Make An Outfit Stylish" for next posts but I thought I'd address your second request first! Mostly because giving advice for me triumphs over make up or fashion any day!
I was going to film a video but I'm feeling kind of lazy and I always stutter so just for today I'll just type it out!

How to deal with haters?
I already did numerous posts about this topic however I felt my advice back then was just run on sentences and ramblings. It didn't make sense so here is my revised advice on how to deal with haters!

The first thing that everyone should know about their haters is that haters will always hate and  that they are either jealous of you or have nothing better to do. Those haters are actually beneath you and the reason why they are sending nasty words at you or doing nasty things at you is because they want to bring you down to their level.
Now what do you do with these people?
I myself had countless experience with haters here and there and after trial and error I finally found the best solutions to get rid of my haters.

1) Talk it out with them
Confront them. Talk it out. If you have the chance to talk it out with your hater by all means seize the opportunity. By talking it out with them you show maturity and you also show how much of a goof your hater has been acting towards you. Communication is key in everything! So many times people assume things because of miscommunication. Chances are you're most likely to sort it out with them. Just because you guys talked it out doesn't mean you guys have to be friends right away. The whole point of talking it out with your hater is so you guys can act civil towards each other. The way it really should be among people.

2) Ignore them
Haters thrive on your attention believe it or not. The only reason why they keep attacking you guys or picking on you guys is because you're pouring gasoline(your attention) on them(the flame). Ultimately it's just going to get bigger and bigger. So put down the gasoline and walk away. A flame is bound to die on its own eventually. This can be your first step in trying to deal with a hater or can even be your last step if you guys never tried this before. Ignoring can be so simple such as unfollowing them on social media sites and blocking them from your number or email list! Anything that helps you get away from them!

3) Letting it go
This is the best solution for me to deal with MY haters. Yes I have haters and I haven't met anyone who doesn't. Even Jesus who is the perfect divine being has haters. How I deal with my haters is that I let them go. I let the idea of them hating me go. I let it affect me and then I set it free. I don't feed into their hatred because hatred is really just a vicious cycle and only you can really stop it. I used to not deal well with haters hating on me because I want everyone to like me but unfortunately we can't always get what we want. So before when I found out that people were hating on me I was extremely sad up until I realize their decisions for hating me was beyond my control. What I decided to do was to accept the fact that I can't always please anyone. After I accepted it I felt better. I accepted the haters choice and I didn't let it bother me because I let it go.

Everyone is entitled to their happiness. If anyone or anything is stopping you from that happiness why shouldn't you be able to get rid of it? No one needs negativity in their life.
No one needs a Negative Nancy in their life or a Hating Heather !

Just move on, don't bother with them.
Don't sink to their level.

Lucy, I hope this was helpful for your friend.
If your friend needs someone to talk to or if you need someone to talk to you know where to reach me :)

If anyone else wants to request something or personally ask me something please don't hesitate to email me!!

I hope all you other lovelies enjoyed this advice post!

Valentines

I wished I actually made a post on the day of Valentines! However one day isn't that bad. Anyways before I start posting what I did on Valentines day I just wanted to give out my thoughts about this "seasonal day". A lot of people are bitter about this holiday mostly because they think Valentines Day is to celebrate couples and couples only. They don't know that's only a fraction of what Valentines day is. Sure Valentines Day has been advertised for couples and only for couples but they're missing out the bigger message behind Valentines Day. It's LOVE! For goodness sake you can't have a happy couple with out love and Valentines Day's symbol is even a heart. A heart is filled with compassion, love and care. Of course I am talking about the emotional heart and not the blood pumping muscle! I say Valentines Day is for everyone. Everyone should celebrate Valentines Day regardless if you are single or not. Like I said Valentines Day revolves around love and what better way to celebrate love on that day? Just because you don't have a significant other doesn't mean you should hate this holiday. Celebrate it. Treat yourself! You deserve nothing but the best and there's no love better than from yourself. Of course you can't love anyone unless you love yourself because how can you do something if you don't know what it's like to feel it from within? I think people overlook the significance of themselves and what they're capable of. Sure other people can make them happy but in order for them to achieve real happiness comes from themselves. No one should rely on a person for their ONLY  source of happiness. Like I said the good things start within and works its way out. I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day that was filled with love. Love meaning from your partner, from your friends, from your parents, from your brothers or sisters and most definitely from yourself!

Victoria

Yesterday I was supposed to go out with my three closest friends. I haven't seen them in such a long time and we planned a special adventure. I was ready to go however, my father changed his mind and wouldn't let me go. This bothered me a lot because for starters I was ready to go, I was ready to see my friends and I was ready to explore! But my father was being protective yet again and played the "you're too young" card and "just the four of you? No adults?" card. The thing is where we were going wasn't exactly accessible just by car. He said he would be very worried about me. Of course I knew his reasons I just didn't want to accept it until now. I was pretty bummed about not going cause we planned this four days ago and all the hype and excitement was getting to me. I know my father was only looking out for me and it took me a long time to understand his decision of not letting me go. After thinking what my father had to decide for me was probably hard on him.
Parents definitely have the hardest jobs out here in this world. They do nothing but sacrifice for their children. They would even sacrifice their children's view on them as being the coolest parents on earth if it meant to keep them safe at all cost. Even if it means that they're not cool in front of their children's friends eyes. I realized how hard I was being on my father for not letting me go out with my friends to the "adventure" plan. I know kids are always getting angry or annoyed because their parents don't let them do what they want but if anyone puts themselves in their shoes they would probably have a hard time too. "Should I be a cool parent and let them do whatever they want or a responsible one for the safety of my kid?" Every parent faces that question everyday and I know some kids won't understand it and even I'm still understanding it. Yes, parents can be cruel sometimes but in reality it's for our own good. I know I was pretty mad at my father for not letting me go but I learned to let it go because its not really worth being mad at. Especially if he was just trying to look out for me. I think it helps when we get to see the point of view of anyone's decisions. My father being a parent was only trying to do his duty. Protect and look out for his children. Even my father can be protective of my two older brothers at time. It's just a parents nature to protect their offspring because you know why? They cherish us and love us. They would do anything for us because that's love. Love is sacrifice. My dad will always sacrifice anything for my brothers and I. Even if it means that he has to sacrifice being "cool." I guess I'm not that mad or choked about this anymore because I reminded myself about what a parent does. I have so much respect for parents because like I said, they have to deal with so much with their kids. Even if they get told "I hate you" or "I never want to speak to you again" they never get discouraged because they know they're doing the right thing.
The thing is some parents might be overwhelming for us kids and you know what? You can tell them! I remember the first time I ever opened up to my parents on how it wasn't fair because I wanted the equal treatment they gave to my brothers. It took awhile for them to accept it but they did anyways. Talking will always get to people. Yes, parents may overreact but that's their crazy way of saying "thank goodness you're alright!" Or "don't ever do that again because you scared me!" Eventually they'll have to learn to let their children grow up and they will be. However, for now it will be easier if you guys can get an understanding agreement with each other. They listen to what you say and vice versa. Parents and their kids relationship doesn't have to be complex as all the books and television advertises. Sometimes even the smallest talks can impact the parent or kid. I guess what I'm trying to say is:
If my father didn't tell me his reasons why and talked to me then I probably would've been bitter still, however I'm thankful he did because communication is the key!

Let It Go

Before any of you judge someone take a step back. Take that person with a grain of salt. I say that because people aren't really who they are. They may have reasons for doing certain things and acting differently. Yes, that person may end up offending you or even hurt you really badly. It's okay to feel angry or hurt but to call them out and accuse them can go terribly wrong. This can cause tension and worst of all drama. I think we humans forget we have one thing in our possession that we barely use to our advantage. That's communication. Communication is what connects people to one another. It gets feelings across and even the truth. Instead of getting angry at them and starting "drama" you might as well talk it out with them. Sure it may cause some awkwardness or it may even be all in your head but at least it's better to clear the uneasiness you're feeling rather than letting that uneasiness grow into hatred. I don't know how much I can stress this out. So many problems in my life were due to miscommunication or assumptions. If I knew earlier in life that communication was the key then I would've probably avoided so much drama and I could've salvaged some of my friendships. I hope this can at least help or remind some of you guys that in any relationship communication can solve almost any of your problems or at least it's a first step to solving them!

Frozen

Earlier today I was watching a movie called "Odd Girl Out." I was trying to find a similar moving to "Cyberbully." I absolutely adored Cyberbully because I thought it perfectly executed one of the main issues of online bullying. This post is for uplifting all the victims who were bullied or who were bullies.

I myself don't have an experience with being bullied or being a bully. Yeah, I did tease people here and there but that was when I was young and I didn't know any better. I didn't expect any of my comments to hurt anyone and neither did they when they teased me back. As I got older I began to realize the importance of
"Think before you say"
I don't know how to stress that quote enough. I mean that quote is pretty self-explanatory. There's no analogies or metaphors or anything deep within that quote. That quote is just telling you to THINK before you SAY anything. No one really knows what it's like to feel the pain that you're inflecting them with your words. You may be joking and teasing but those words you throw at them can make them incredibly insecure. Who knows they may even already feel insecure about that. NO BODY loves to hear their flaws and be made fun of because of those. There's really no point in trying to bring someone down with you. I say that because people who are bullies are the ones who are down and low. They envy the ones they are bullying because they got everything going for them. That's what I typically learned from those two movies. I know some people when they tease they may not mean it but then again you're not having someone CONSTANTLY reminding you on why you should go on a "diet" or get surgery done to enhance some of your body features. You're not being told to die every single moment because you did something bad. It's not too late to turn back now and to try and mend those things with the person you've been bullying. Chances are that person would want your apology and MAYBE even be your friend. I don't know what more can I say to those bullies out there.
You're not being told to die every single time you see them. You're not the one feeling depressed everyday because of those ugly remarks you're saying to them. You're not the one who's going through all that bullshit. You're especially not the one who's strong.

To all you victims who were bullied,
You guys are strong, don't forget that at all. You guys are amazing and it's their fault for not seeing it. They only pick on you and try to hurt you because  they know you're above them. They shouldn't even try to bring you down with them because you know what? You're going to get back on top. You may go through hell trying to go through each day but those battles you're facing will make you stronger. Always keep your head up because you're beautiful, you're not overweight, you're an amazing person and best of all you're one of a kind. Don't let their jealousy bring you down, rather let it bring you up. Since they're bullying you they're thinking of you ALL THE TIME. Take that as a compliment. If they post something nasty about you always take screen shots and save it and report it when you think its necessary. BEST OF ALL: TELL SOMEONE.
Telling someone will make your life a lot easier. If you want to stop feeling bullied then you got to tell someone. Don't hide behind anything. Don't let them scare you because they themselves are scared. They're scared to be caught that's why they're constantly reminding you. They may threaten you all they want and make fun of you all you want but you, yourself can end it. You can have your parents defend you all you want or hide behind your tears, but you yourself need to stand up for yourself. They bully because they know you let them and you got to be the strong person you are and stand up. Telling someone is going to make a difference and even talking it out. You may disagree with me but your parents will want to do anything in their power to stop their babies getting bullied. That's why your best bet is to tell someone like an adult. Those adults you tell probably have experiences with bullies so you never know.

I don't know if I got through anyone or if I at least made some people realize. I feel like I'm going to redo a post on this. I know at least everyday I'm going to touch on issues or questions people have. I'm still trying to generate an asking site so people can straight up just ask me for advice.

ADVICE ON HATERS

ICE ICE BABY

I have no idea why I'm happy right now. Everything just seems to be falling in it's place. I'm so thankful. I'm so blessed but I'm also stressed. I'm too happy to care about problems and everything negative is on the bottom of my list. Everything that shouldn't need caring is in the back of my mind. I know I already did a video on this but I can't stress the fact that I'm too happy right now. It's not like I'm bragging or boasting, I'm trying to send out a message because I believe my video was just not "serious". I feel better when I'm typing this out because I know I can say things properly and I won't have to stutter.

When you focus on all your blessings and look at all the positive things in life you tend to see all the happy things and life sort of gets better for you. It's only sort of because it's how you react to it. Most people just accept the "sort of" and this is why they slowly fall back into feeling "crappy". For me I just kept reminding myself how much I'm having it good. If you keep counting how happy you are then yes, everything will slowly start to fall where you want it to be. It may not be efficient because happiness takes days, months or years to accomplish.

For me, I just dismiss all the negative. The problem with us is we believe ignoring our problems will sort it out, no. It doesn't. It just makes it worst. Dismissing isn't the same as ignoring. When you dismiss something you are checking it out seeing if its good, allowing it to affect you, learning from it and letting it go. We all need to be a sponge. Absorb all the negative and problems that's being thrown at us and just let it go slowly. Because if we don't have those negative things in life, how will we be better people? How will we know to overcome similar problems?

I used to be so fixated on drama. I used to thrive on it. I know it sounds sad. But that was also the reason why I felt so empty, jealous, angry and always sad. I learned to let go and slowly all those emotions went away. Yeah I still feel jealousy and hatred but it's so minuscule. I barely feel it.

So to the people who still have drama with me, who hate me, who despise me, who can't stand me, who don't even like me just because
chucking up my deuces
Everyone should do that. No one is worth your time unless they love you. No one is worth your attention when all they want to do is bring you down. No one is worth your rants unless you truly care about their opinion.

I wanna thank God, for allowing me to be strong.
