CONFIDENCE

Got this idea from Makayla when she wanted to hear about my thoughts on this. (However I'm not really sure if this is what you were trying to ask but let's just roll with it LOL :$).

Confidence. This word may be foreign to some of us or it may be something we're familiar with. I believe confidence plays a huge role in loving yourself. Don't believe me? Here's a little snippet of my personal experience.

I'm not going to lie on some days I look at myself in the mirror with disgust and on some days I look in the mirror proud on how I look. However before it only used to be disgust. I would hate what I saw in the mirror. I envied those girls who had that thigh gap and those girls who looked flawless with out their make up. I was so insecure with myself and my confidence was so low. When I started wearing make up I couldn't stop. If it was to walk my dog or to go to the grocery store I had to wear make up, because I sincerely thought that I didn't look good. Because of this I became cold, distant and had a negative mindset. I kept comparing myself to other girls who had everything I wanted. It was then I realized all the girls that I envied were from magazines and television. Even the girls I envied that I knew in person did something to allow themselves to reach where they are.

At that moment after a series of deep talks, support and prayer I realized I too had to do something. I was tired of feeling sorry for myself. I hated the feeling of self loathe. It didn't feel good and it reflected on who I was on the outside. You see, what you feel on the inside is how you act on the outside. If you're not feeling 100% then you're not going to be 100%. I started to exercise and watched what I ate. I began to take care of myself better by using the proper products needed for my body. Not only did I improve on my looks but I also worked on my communication skills. Back then I was an introvert. I hated talking and meeting new people. I was comfortable in my shell. I knew I wanted to meet and talk to new people but I was too damn shy. However once I started to feel good about myself on how I looked, I started to gain confidence to approach other people that I always wanted to befriend.

Now I'm not saying you have to go through this whole new makeover just so you can get confidence. What I am trying to say is that confidence lies within yourself. If you're constantly putting yourself down and feeling sorry for yourself, you're putting your confidence down. You're not believing in yourself. It took a long time to realize that make up can't help you feel 100%. Even though I love make up, make up is a false tool that people used in order to feel confident and beautiful. In reality beautiful is who you truly are. Beautiful is your natural face, your natural look. Natural is beautiful. Yes, make up is great but it shouldn't be your source of confidence. You, yourself should be your source of confidence. I'm not trying to tell any of you to stop wearing make up in order to feel confident. If make up HELPS with building your confidence then so be it because it's still today part of my confidence. Just don't let it be your source for confidence.

Here in this video I'm taking off my make up. Back then if I didn't change on how I thought then I probably wouldn't ever post this video. However I learned to accept myself for who I am. If I wanted to get that thigh gap then I'm probably going to have to exercise. If you want great things in life you have to work for it.

Song: Feels - Girrafage
(Face Wipes: Morning Blast Facial Wipes)
I want to tag everyone to do this.
Take off your make up and be proud of who you are without it!
Because you're freaking beautiful.

One of the main objective in life is to be happy. A lot of key things play into happiness. Confidence is surely one of them. Like I said if you want something in life you have to work for it. Confidence isn't easy to obtain but it isn't impossible to obtain. You just have to work at it and persevere.

I'm not an expert in confidence. It took me a long time to gain confidence. I'm just sharing my personal experience and my thoughts on confidence.

I hope you lovelies enjoyed this post and I hope it was helpful.

Styling My Outfits

So sorry to Lucy because this post took a really long time to do! I want to apologize to you hun because I wasn't able to post this right away!
Anyways as requested of her in my request post I am sharing to you lovelies how I style an outfit!
Here is an example that I will use to show you lovely people how I style my outfits.
I'm wearing just a basic White Tee that I got from H&M.
For my bottoms I wore my Boyfriend Jeans from XXI.
This outfit is easily to accessorize and make it more stylish!

For this outfit I would wear my mid rings!
The two gold mid rings I got are from Aldo!
These rings pretty much go with any outfits and make your fingers look awesome!
The black ring is also from Aldo and I thought I would choose a ring that stands out!
Wearing rings can add a sense of style to your outfit and it's a great accessory!

Of course I have to wear my arm candy with this outfit! Since it is so basic!
Starting with my side of the left hand I decided to wear my Michael Kors watch!
This MK watch is so easy to wear with any outfits because the watch itself is plain and basic.
But also a bit classy!
For my right hand I just grabbed any random gold bracelets to compliment the watch and my outfit!

Here is my final outfit!
I threw on my Black Long Cardigan from H&M!
This just adds some warmth and serve as my "coat"
It also goes really well with my outfit because of the neutral colours I'm wearing!
I'm also wearing my Gold Chain Necklace from Value Village!
This just adds with my gold accessories!
Finally for my purse I chose my Steve Madden purse!
If you guys are wondering what shoes I would wear with this I would probably wear my White Converse or my White Keds!
The colour scheme I was focusing on was: Black, White, Blue and Gold!
What helps me style my outfit is first picking it out of course. I start from what I want to wear as my bottoms and then I pick an appropriate top to match the bottom!
Depending on the colours of my outfit is how I determine which accessories I'll wear!
You can turn any plain basic outfit like the first picture and then make it stylish by adding bracelets, necklaces, earrings! Even the type of purse/bag you choose can make a difference!
Finally if you still feel like your outfit is lacking some style you can change it by adding a cardigan or a stylish jacket! I chose to wear my long black cardigan to add some style to it! And to keep my personality with my outfit ;)!
Don't forget you can also add hats to tie your outfits together! I find myself wearing toques or boy's caps to make my outfit reflect on who I am!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I hope it was helpful? I don't really know if it did anything but this is how I style my outfits :)!
Till next time lovelies<3

REQUEST!

Hello!
I at least check my emails once a day and I found this message in my inbox!

Originally I was going to cut off her name but Lucy said she was fine with it! Besides I managed to hide her email address (so don't worry Lucy you still have some confidentiality!)
Anyways before I dive into her message I just want to make one thing clear: I accept "requests" or "suggestions" for ideas on my next post! You lovelies are reading it and even though this is my blog I want to appeal to you all! You guys are my motivation to keep blogging! So I wanna thank you all lovelies<3!
Lucy,
You can definitely count on "How To Make An Outfit Stylish" for next posts but I thought I'd address your second request first! Mostly because giving advice for me triumphs over make up or fashion any day!
I was going to film a video but I'm feeling kind of lazy and I always stutter so just for today I'll just type it out!

How to deal with haters?
I already did numerous posts about this topic however I felt my advice back then was just run on sentences and ramblings. It didn't make sense so here is my revised advice on how to deal with haters!

The first thing that everyone should know about their haters is that haters will always hate and  that they are either jealous of you or have nothing better to do. Those haters are actually beneath you and the reason why they are sending nasty words at you or doing nasty things at you is because they want to bring you down to their level.
Now what do you do with these people?
I myself had countless experience with haters here and there and after trial and error I finally found the best solutions to get rid of my haters.

1) Talk it out with them
Confront them. Talk it out. If you have the chance to talk it out with your hater by all means seize the opportunity. By talking it out with them you show maturity and you also show how much of a goof your hater has been acting towards you. Communication is key in everything! So many times people assume things because of miscommunication. Chances are you're most likely to sort it out with them. Just because you guys talked it out doesn't mean you guys have to be friends right away. The whole point of talking it out with your hater is so you guys can act civil towards each other. The way it really should be among people.

2) Ignore them
Haters thrive on your attention believe it or not. The only reason why they keep attacking you guys or picking on you guys is because you're pouring gasoline(your attention) on them(the flame). Ultimately it's just going to get bigger and bigger. So put down the gasoline and walk away. A flame is bound to die on its own eventually. This can be your first step in trying to deal with a hater or can even be your last step if you guys never tried this before. Ignoring can be so simple such as unfollowing them on social media sites and blocking them from your number or email list! Anything that helps you get away from them!

3) Letting it go
This is the best solution for me to deal with MY haters. Yes I have haters and I haven't met anyone who doesn't. Even Jesus who is the perfect divine being has haters. How I deal with my haters is that I let them go. I let the idea of them hating me go. I let it affect me and then I set it free. I don't feed into their hatred because hatred is really just a vicious cycle and only you can really stop it. I used to not deal well with haters hating on me because I want everyone to like me but unfortunately we can't always get what we want. So before when I found out that people were hating on me I was extremely sad up until I realize their decisions for hating me was beyond my control. What I decided to do was to accept the fact that I can't always please anyone. After I accepted it I felt better. I accepted the haters choice and I didn't let it bother me because I let it go.

Everyone is entitled to their happiness. If anyone or anything is stopping you from that happiness why shouldn't you be able to get rid of it? No one needs negativity in their life.
No one needs a Negative Nancy in their life or a Hating Heather !

Just move on, don't bother with them.
Don't sink to their level.

Lucy, I hope this was helpful for your friend.
If your friend needs someone to talk to or if you need someone to talk to you know where to reach me :)

If anyone else wants to request something or personally ask me something please don't hesitate to email me!!

I hope all you other lovelies enjoyed this advice post!
