NOVEMBRANCE
I don't think I understand or many of us understand how truly grateful we are. We live in a place with such freedom. The liberty to think, do and say just as long as it doesn't offend anyone. Other places in the world they don't have this privileged. I was lying in my bed earlier this morning and I was thinking what if the soldiers didn't fight? Would I still be alive? Would I be someone else? Because of those soldiers who fought for us and didn't even know who we are, I'm forever grateful to them. This is why it pains me when I see people who don't even wear a single poppy on themselves. They didn't know who I was, yet they did it for my future.
Because of them we are free. We own liberty.

I know I missed blogging but school and work has been hectic right now. I totally forgot I had a midterm yesterday so I totally bombed that exam. Why does it take me so long for me to realize college isn't high school? I'm not trying as hard as I want to and as result my marks are taking a toll on that. I know for sure next semester I'll definitely try harder, I think.
Yesterday was my first actual real shift and I gotta say it wasn't as bad I thought it would be. It was definitely nerve-wrecking but I got used to it and since I'm working again today I guess I'll be used to it more. During my shift my friends visited me and invited me to a movie: Thor - The Dark World. Holy crap it was such a good movie but I didn't even watch the first one. I'm watching it right now actually. It's pretty awesome so far but I didn't know Thor was such an ass. I prefer Loki more though. Before my shift I went on a shopping spree and bought quite a few things. I'll post what I purchase later on tonight!

There are no such thing as ugly people nor ugly anything.
The whole point is that we're so fixed on thinking pretty is what is plastered in front of magazines, tabloid, music videos. Pretty revolves around celebrities.
However the beauty that we see and we work around the word perfect is far from it.
I'm sure everyone realizes that every picture that is in magazines are photoshopped to the max and their faces and bodies are altered in a horrific way.
I guess that's why we're so fixed on calling people ugly because they don't fit the criteria of "pretty" or "perfect"
Because they aren't
Why do people pretend to be someone who they aren't? Eventually somehow you start to realize the pain somewhere deep inside of you. That's the cry of the person who you really are. You locked them down for so long and they've been crying out to you. You were perfect at hiding them until one day something struck a nerve. Don't be someone who you aren't. Be good to yourself. In the end it'll be worth it because what is a good ending with out hardships and failure?
What makes us ugly is our perception through our eyes. Our perception is our thoughts. Our thoughts come from our brain. Our brain takes in what we see. We see through our eyes.What's the whole point of that?
The whole point is that we're so fixed on thinking pretty is what is plastered in front of magazines, tabloid, music videos. Pretty revolves around celebrities.
However the beauty that we see and we work around the word perfect is far from it.
I'm sure everyone realizes that every picture that is in magazines are photoshopped to the max and their faces and bodies are altered in a horrific way.

Be yourself
This one bothers me a lot. Why does anyone want to get away from who they are? Why can't they realize that being them is "perfect." Not giving a damn on what anyone thinks, not giving a damn on what their interests are.

I pretty much did nothing today. All I did was wake up, eat, watch tv shows, eat and watch tv shows. My life is so great right now and I'm enjoying all this free time while I can because this Friday is when I fully start work and grind time. I'm dreading it but I'm also excited to work with new faces. It'll be really refreshing since everyone at work so far has been really kind to me and so down to earth. It's not like my previous experience in retail where everyone is just there for themselves and they're out to get each other. Maybe it's because my work is so big that we're all here just to work as a team and have a good time.
I was planning to go out today just by myself to the mall and shop. I really need to satisfy these urges to splurg all my cash but I'm fighting it currently. One step at a time or one shopping at a time. I have to say though I'm proud of myself for saving up my birthday money and allowances so far. I've saved up good pocket money especially when I bought myself the hunter boots. I haven't even worn the hunter boots yet. I'm kind of scared that it'll get ruin but I don't know. I'm having this weird urge to buy lipstick. Perhaps like a maroon colour or the oxblood nail polish type of colour. I don't know what's wrong with me.
It's almost time to register for Winter semester and I told myself no late classes! However one of the course I really want to take is super late and by the time I'd go home it would be almost midnight. Like please, why?! It actually makes me so sad because I had my whole schedule figured out and this pops out of nowhere. Especially my next biology course. They're only offering 6 classes for the next biology course and I really need to get into that biology. If I don't then I'll be a damn semester behind. Oh well.
That wraps up my little spiel of rants and yadda yadda.

E.L.F
I don't know if you'd count this as a haul since I got it from one place but who cares?
So like two weeks ago e.l.f had a 50% off sale on all their brushes. Of course I had to buy the 25 brush set with the brush make-up belt set.

Of course I'd need a new jar to put my brush in!
Pretty damn excited to use these. Now I just gotta go on a shopping spree at Sephora and purchase MakeUp Forever foundations, concealers and all that other jazz. I'll probably make a video talking about each brush, who knows.

Cold
There must be something going around, I feel like total crap at the moment. My head is spinning and my throat is sore. I have this major but minor head ache and water doesn't seem to fix it. I gulped a cold-fx pill and hopefully that will stop whatever is going on inside of me. I'm really not down to go study for my Biology quiz. It's all about muscles. Although I'm finished making my Quizlet set, I just cant find myself to study or actually learn. Maybe its because of this cold blockade. This headache is making it harder for me to concentrate or to stick to one thing. Man I feel like total crap. So bad that I even grabbed another blanket. Like that'll help. I feel like I should take vitamins or something. Maybe another cold-fx pill. I don't even know. Ugh. Other than feeling like complete utter crap, everything seems to be going well.
New job = new coworkers
I gotta say, they are friggen amazing. They are so nice and sweet. I wouldn't have thought that because whenever I used to shop there all the workers seemed so pissed off. Maybe its because they've been through so much but they are honestly the sweetest workers I've worked with ever since Wendy's. I plan on staying at work till I get into my program next year or down the road.
I guess I should get back to studying for bio or maybe I'll go take a shower.
